Prelicensing

A 40-hour course required by the State of Michigan for everyone who wants to become a real estate salesperson. Daytime and evening classes are available throughout the year. There is a midterm and final exam. Graduates of this course are eligible to take the state exam. You do not have to join Real Estate One to take prelicensing. Graduates can take this course and then join any brokerage in Michigan (upon successfully completing the state exam).

Continuing Education

The State of Michigan requires 6 hours of continuing education for all licensed sales agents. Whether you are a member of the Real Estate One Family of Companies or another broker, our con-ed classes are for everyone!

Computer Classes

Real Estate One Academy has its own computer lab for all Real Estate One sales agents. We offer a complete line of classes designed to meet the technological needs of real estate salespeople encompassing everything from personal websites to complete listing displays on the internet. Classes include Importing/Exporting Photos, Web One, Realtor.com, E-mail, Computers for the Technologically Impaired, E-forms, Business Goal Planning, and Lightning CMA.

Pathways To Success

"Pathways To Success" is a complete educational program designed to take any new or re-start sales agent through the entire process of successful sales and a very satisfying and rewarding career as follows:

Pathway I (practical) is for all new or transferring salespeople. Pathway I is a very important introductory course intended to orient the student to agency relationships, help the student create a sensible and organized 12 month business plan, and receive a detailed explanation of Real Estate One forms utilized in the buying and selling process. This course is a 5 day commitment, 4 hours per session, attended in sequential order.

Pathway II (practice) is for all sales associates that are either newly licensed or transferred from another company. Newly licensed agents must have already completed Pathway I to attend this class. Pathway II is designed to encourage activity while learning necessary skills to work with buyers and sellers from start to finish. We will cover all aspects of prospecting including dialogue and objection handling. This course involves role-play and demonstrations that the student will be expected to practice in the field as homework. Let's learn it, practice it, perfect it! This course is a 10 day commitment, 4 hours per session, attended in sequential order.

Pathway III (step to success coaching system) is a power-packed 30 day commitment for everyone - whether recently licensed or an agent who simply wants to be re-energized. Included are extensive prospecting, dialogue sharing, objection handling, live chat sessions, and accountability, while having daily access to your coach. This system is designed to create productivity while downloading habits necessary to compete in any market condition. Pathway II is a pre-requisite for this Pathway III.
